Default Safety Recall JY/20L8

How long should it take to do this repair? Dealer is telling me one hour but it seems from other posts on this site that it is more like 6 - 7 hours. I have my appointment tomorrow morning and I am thinking the dealer just wants to get my car in there. I am not too trusting of any dealer with my car. Thanks.

Default find another dealer then...

trust has to be earned.

Even the recall papers say it will take some time.

My dealer told me 6 hours, which will mean overnight in my book.

Did your dealer get the parts in first? Do you get a loaner?

I don't know if he has the parts yet but he told me it was going to take an hour and that I can wait for it. I am suspect that once it comes in they will give me some BS story. Can you recommend a dealer in the NYC area?

Default But, I see you are in NJ..

Just send and e-mail to carson@riversideaudi.com

Carson sells parts for Riverside and APR and some other things. He will set you up with a good service advisor for this. He may even help you with a loaner. They are on Rt 3 in West NY, NJ.

Default If you want to schedule at Riverside, call Brian at (201)-758-1600 Ext. 117

Be sure to mention you're on AW and that Carson referred you.

LIve in NY but work in NJ. Its ashame that I could not go to Bell they are so close to my office. I am sure though it would have been a nightmare. Hope I can get a loaner!

Default they had my car for a day and gave us a loaner. Very happy with Anchor

they even topped-off the washer fluid and washed it...we didn't buy from there and we're out of warranty so thumbs up to Roxie.

Default

Mine goes in Tuesday for the recall. Planning 3-4 hours. Providing free loaner.
