Default Satellite radio?

Was XM or Sirius offered in '03? I have the Bose stereo and Onstar, which are both part of the Infotainment package according the "Specs and Pricing" guide under the Model Guide above. Also a part of that package is a satellite radio - but the guide is for '04. I haven't seen anything about satellite radio in my car, but I am wondering if I have it and don't know it, or could enable it?

Default Re: Satellite radio?

I think Crispin G is right.

A couple ways to tell.

1. Does your head unit have a SAT button on it?
2. Do you have the "shark fin" antenna?

Regards,
Gavin

Default no internal/ Audi Sat for the 03.. I have this..

Your options are to get a new head unit that has the sat button and input. Then buy the Audi SAT unit for $300.00 plus antenna etc.

The other option is a blitzsafe adapter that goe into the secondary CD Input that the changer in the rear would use. (same as Icelink) and use the inut jacks from the blitsafe to any SAT Radio unit you buy.

Default folks....stay tuned: I'll be adding the 2005 OEM submarine fin to my 2001 A6 avant for....

RNS-E and OEM Sirius tuner.

Which will have Nav/GPS, SAT antenna and GSM. FYI - AM/FM is handled in the glass between the C and D pillar.

Lee Hicks has helped me a lot with this research.

Keep an eye out on www.navplus.us (cable/antenna forum) for my posts on this topic.
