Hi all,
I want to put a satellite radio (Sirius) in my 02. I searched and haven't found much in here so I'll ask. Is their a unit to be found that installs nicely into our cars? What is the consensus on which one to go with? What options do we have for antennas? Install options for a clean look?
TIA for any help.
Neil

Clean install, and I can take it out of the cradle and listen at home.
They installed an FM Modulator to be used at 87.5 MHz through the Bose system, sounds great, IMHO.

I installed Sirius in my ar. The antenna is easy. Installed it on the roof just in front of the rear hatch and ran the wired tucked under moulding. I used the 12v power outlet behind the arm rest so that the ash tray is still available for cell charger. Hid the wire under the seat. The challenge is where to mount the unit in an already tight space. ebay has many different mounting systems. The one I settled on is the cup holder mount. Since the cup holder by the vents holds nothing larger than a 12oz soda can I wasn't worried about losing 1 of 2 in the car. It is out of the way and very clean looking.

Flips up and lays down so you can still close the ashtray cover. The only thing I would warn you to do (if you go this route), is to preset all of your favorites. The ashtray is a little "too far" from keeping your eyes on the road, and memorize the buttons on the remote. Other than that it hides perfectly.

Did you hard wire to the back of the stereo or are you using an FM modulator? Did you run the power to the cigarette lighter? Where did you mount the antenna and run the cable?
