Seat heater melted seat!

Called AoA :(
I called AoA, and they have to take a few days to process the claim. They wanted me to take it in to the dealer to get a diagnosis first. I'm not paying the dealer an hour's worth of labor to tell them, "Yeah, the seat is melted." I guess we'll see.........

Never use them at all, only thing I like is the heated wheel and it stay on all the time now so I
can't use it!(when the drivers seat heating is on it stays on all the time)

you won't have to pay...
they are already telling you that they are taking care of it. Otherwise they would have said no.

I think I'll just wait for them to call me.
Thanks for all the advice. I'll see what AoA has to say when they call me back. I've been screwed by the dealer here one too many times. AoA didn't make any promises as far as paying for anything, so I'm a little weary to put any money into it at this point. Refund or not. Thanks though!

Wait for them to call you back.....
....it takes a few days but they will. They'll tell you to take it to the dealer so they can check the car and then decide who pays after the dealer checks it. For when you call the dealer; they'll give you a number to give the dealer so they know how to charge for the diagnosis.
Basically, they just need to check it and make sure it's not a cigarette burn or something similar.
The dealer will do the repair in the end anyway, so you'll have to go there at some point. Good Luck.
