I asked Shokan how much a part would be a tried to negotiate a better price.
Sorry dude, but I'm not paying 37 dollars for a center cap, you're out of your mind.

That's one of the problems with Shokan. They are overpricing parts.

In the early '90's I had a brake booster failure on my '86 4kcsq. The dealer was patient and allowed me to order a replacement from Shokan. I did. It arrived and it was defective. They replaced it but only after I returned the defective one and arguing with me that the dealer damaged it. I had to pay for return shipping for the defective one and new shipping for the replacement. The whole process took about 2-1/2 weeks IIRC and in the end cost me within a few dollars of a new one from the dealer. I have never bought from them again.

Yep, I called this week to ask about allroad compressors. They didn't have any, but said that when they have them, they sell for something like $395. I was appalled, given that Arnott sells NEW OEM ones for $392. Shokan didn't care, said they fly off the shelves at that price. I guess if they can get that price, then it's the loss of whatever poor soul just paid the same amount that they could have gotten a new one for!
