So many posts on tint, so little time to read them all.
I have seen all the great pics everyone has posted, but it is still difficult to tell if having different tint on front and back windows is what I really want to do.
I am thinking about a 50/35/20 fade or maybe just 50 all the way around. I have ridden in a number of cars lately that are 35 all the way around and they are fine in the city, but you get out by the lakes and it is a little too dark for my comfort level watching for deer and other critters.
It would be great to hear from the tinted: If you had it to do over again would you go with the same tint all around or go with the fade?

I have 35 on the 4 doors and 20 on rear 3 windows...love it.

If I had to do it again and the laws in NY were a little more lenient, I'd go 20 all around. I thought the graduation would look less suspect than 20 all around.
IMO I don't think 50 will do much for you.

I have 35% on side 3 windows and 5% on the rear gate
the pics in my picture poster make the tint look darker than it really is. I like 5% on the back beacuse I get very little glare from people w/ brites on or illegal headlights, driving lights etc. The 35% on the sides is dark enough without limiting visibility

Same tint 20% all around.
I did 20% all rear and 35% front 2 for the poor logic that its illegal to tint front 2 in NJ. After my next inspection when I have to rip the front 2 down again I am going 20% on the front. I would do 5% all around on a black car.

Have to say, Huper Optik all the way, 30% all around, but it equals every other %50
this stuff is awesome. clear enough that it doesn't affect vision at night, very low glare off instruments at night (a big deal with very dark, non-ceramic tints), and it cuts way more infrared (heat) than regular tints. trust me. had for 1.5 years, 2 summers, and...it rules.
