Default So what have you looked at driven lately, anything as an allroad sub yet?

Having a hard time finding anything and the wife continues to find "cute" cars.

Jeep liberty
Free Lander, you know it has drum rear brakes?WTH!
Subaru outback, not bad, but I prefer the legacy
Volvo XC90, I like it but it's overpriced for what I'm trying to do.
Mazda wagon, Fronttrac, otherwise nice car
ML320 (just started investigating for the wife)
VW Toureg, sorry overpriced
Porsche Cayenne, sorry overpriced (but I like it!)
Jetta wagon, nothing wrong with it, a bit small and boring (okay now you see that I can't just let her pick her own car as I have to like, the gig is up).

So I'm spoiled, wagon = sportier then an SUV, 6 spd (no one else has the 6spd in a wagon, SUV), I won't miss it being an Audi, but there are lots of things I really like about the allroad.

I'm at 90% getting rid of the allroad (turn it in, unless they pull their head out and really don't want to take the car back to auction).

Who knows!! Screw you Audi for spoiling me and screw you Audi for not supporting your owners and making me want to get out of the brand (what a screwed up situation!!!)

Had a rental...powerful, cool looking but design creates HUGE blind spots off the rear flanks

Default LR3? At least the Jag V8 has my interest...

Wished they'd dropped the Discovery a$$ end though.

Default The only thing that I would consider as an allroad sub right now is the V70R

Wagon body, 300hp, 6 speed manual trans, 3rd row seat, AWD, etc.

Personally I will only consider manual trans so the field gets narrow really, really quickly.

Default You give it more credit, it's boring, from the rear it's blahh

Commercials made it seem nice, but seeing them in person, no thanks, for many reasons but one of the biggest is the design is pretty poor.
