Default So you set your suspension to auto height adjust, or do it manually?

Reading another thread it seemed as though some of you set the suspension so it adjusts the height based on speed. I've seen a few around town that seem to do the same (eg, in level 3 at a stop light.)

Personally, I like to choose which level it's in. Often in the city, I have it in 1. Sometimes on the highway, unless it's rough. In that case, I put it in 2. Deep snow or rough road, 3... and if I'm dealing with some really rough road, 4.

explanantion... 2002-20005 its always speed dependant depending on your heght setting.
i
Ie.. if you set it on L3, the car will automatically adjust at speed to a lower setting..L2 then L1 and back.

If you set at L2 then it will only adjust down to L1 and back to L2.

If you set to L1, it will always be at L1.

I always leave it in manual mode and adjust the setting as needed. 2001 FTW!

Do you ever put it in 3+ for anything but offroad, or above ~50MPH?

so, on my search for the AR... is the manual mode the only thing going for the pre 2002? Or a better question is, what's on the plus side of getting 2002-2005? cuz manual mode seems freakin awesome...

no crappy soft touch interiors in the 01s. "off" button for climate control. and although 02s still have it, 01s also have heated steering wheel and memory passenger seat. minimal things, but its something.

I think I'm confused on what manual mode is. All manual mode means is that it wont lower you when you hit certain speeds. At least that's what I thought, but looking at http://allroadfaq.com/content/changes.shtml, the '01s did that too.

The 4.2's have the heated steering wheel as well. 04-05 have sat radio option. http://allroadfaq.com/content/changes.shtml

Only use level 3+ when it is pouring rain or for off road activities or in the snow.
