Default Something fishy with gas pedal: when RELEASED, the car does not decelerate right away

or does it very slowly. Any thoughts?

Car decelerate when the brake is applied.

Could the gearbox be automatic? That would explain it. Otherwise it sounds like some kind of throttle issue. Not sure what that would be, though.

It has been reported elsewhere that it could be the throttle position sensor.
