Default squeaky seats

My '05 allroad has seat bolsters, that rub against the center console when I am seated and the car is cornering or going over bumps. The cushion must have been designed for someone lighter than 230 lbs and smaller than 6'1". Somewhat annoying, that's all. Anyone find a cure?

I'm 6'4 and a little heavier than you. I've tried getting shorter and losing weight but failed at both.

My '05 was very squeaky too. Solution was to put the fuzzy part of stick on velcro (any sort of felt glued on will work) on the side of the seat belt receptacle where it rubs against the seats. Problem solved.

Interested in hearing how the velcro works out. I was just on a road trip and folded a magazine in half and put it in there & it worked great. Would be nice to have a permanent solution.

I used black velcro also and tried some sticky black felt from hobby lobby. Black industrial velcro works better. Seat bolster rubs on center console and also on seat belt receptacle. No squeaks anymore and it has been almost a year.

Here you go. I used the soft side of some black industrial velcro. I havent applied it to my center console ONLY because I hardly ever have a passenger and when I do I have a black felt sheet that I slide between the seat and console. I will eventually velcro it though. The seatbelts are the same on both sides, just look where the leather is touching the plastics and apply velcro there and you should be squeak free!

On mine I had to put the fabric higher on the seat belt receptacle. Up where the Audi rings and info is on your picture. I have not had to put any on the seat where it touches the console in my car.

Hi there,
From long time, i have a squeacking noise at the back of the back seat on the right side. I cannot tell if it is a whole car body that is squeacking or some "connections" of the back seat anchors. Is anybody have had this type of noise ??

Yes. I've just noticed mine. I'm also thinking it's the seats and/or the cargo/tonneau cover since I recently re-installed that.

Pretty easy check - drop the rear seats and go for a spin.
