Default I know you were getting clunking - was your rack leaking? L.A. audi dealers don't...

touch anything until it's completely **** the bed...

Jealous.

Default Pic # 2. Can you take a measurement of the six fastener locations >

mounting the airspring/damper to the upper support. Like the diameter the 6 hole pattern is on and and the distance between each (are they equally spaced)?

Jon

<edit> they look like rivets.

Default it's Jeff! Tell him I say hi if you see him before you pick up the car.

I was a service writer there and parts guy.

Default What mileage are you at?

I just heard a clunk in mine yesterday going over a dip/bump. I tried duplicating it again, but so far haven't been able to. I'm only at 35k...so hoping, if I have the same issue, that is a faulty part and not an indication of early wear.

Default Old steering rack removed. "Look... you can see right through to the other side!"
