Default I have mined turned off from day one, dealer tried fixing it 3 times without luck.

The periodic beeping wakes the baby, scares and annoyes everyone.

How if we can turn off the seatbelt chime (2004+) even when the car is in park I'll be happy.

Default Yea, I have a VAG-COM (actually ProDiag) and will check it out over Thanksgiving

I've heard that the batteries in the wheels go bad. That'd be a shame. Either that, or it sounds like an antenna malfunction. I'm leaning towards the batteries because they started acting up when the temperatures dropped.

Default So, no fault code after the diagnosis? Now, swap the rear wheels and the front wheels to check if ..

the sensors are bad, if it generates the fault code for the front wheel sensors after the swap.

Default Thanks. Ran it again, throwing 1474 everytime now. Nothing for the other corner...

...I take it that most likely means that antenna is shot? Reading the Bentely it appears as though I have to replace all four. Hardly seems worth it for what it offers.

Thoughts?

You can check the batteries with your ProDiag.

Swap the rear left antenna and the rear right antenna, and diagnose again.
