Default suggestions for wiring my xm?

I have a 2001 allroad 6 speed and I wanted to hide the power wire instead of having it connected to the cigarette outlet with the ash tray open. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where i can hide the wire?

Default First thought...why not Sirius? Second thought, I wired mine like this...

Ran the wire through the center console and along the passenger compartment to underneath the glovebox where I mounted the tuner. The tuner wires through the back of the dash into the radio area and connects to the back of the Symphony head unit via Blitzsafe and PIE adapters.

Sirius plays through the car radio by selecting the CD button on the Symphony unit.

As we say in NH...works like a chaaaam.

Default xm P.I.E. adapter, plugs into radio, stealth power wire, clean install...

replaced the cd changer input so our xm comes in through that input. Would lose a changer if you have one though ... link

Default I don't lose my in-dash CD changer with my Siruis PIE adapter.

tap CD button once for CD changer, tap twice for Satellite.

Did you lose in dash or rear mounted changer?

Default Re: 01 ar has Symphony 1, so no in dash changer, trunk only, different....

PIE adapters for those radios. Also PIE adapters work with different xm radio's too. We are using a roady xt w/ a pie xm5-aud. XM ant. in behind the factory ant. I ran the wire under the hatch seal to the floor and into the cabin allong the driverside beneath the rug. Unit is mounted to the right of the steering column on the dash. Top is about level with bottom of the amp guage. Set the tint to red leds, looks good and close to invisible with the interior, but is easy to see while driving. Channel changes are done by the remote that came w/ the roady
