Default Same here....NO to green interior!

I've been shopping for an AR for quite a while now and this one is tempting, but the green interior is a deal-breaker for me. As much as I want a 6spd, I'd rather get a normal looking automatic car than a 6spd with green interior.

Default too bad its green/green

personally, I cant stand that combo. but the car looks in minty condition(and not just because it is green). Plus it is the generally accepted "best year" being a 2002. Only thing it doesnt have is the multi-function steering wheel, which, combined with the heater, is the only reason I still have a 4spoke and not a 3spoke.

Default I don't mind the green exterior.

It's the green interior that I hate

Default My wife thought it was awful when she saw it in picture...

once I got the car home and she drove it, she had to admit its actually pretty nice.

To me it sets it apart from 99% of others out there with the all too common interior color choices.

of 2001. Do not know haw many were built for 2002, but I'm sure it is rare.

Default Not really. AMC did not build great cars back then. I took the AMX to Germany...

...when I was assigned there as an Army lieutenant. The car rattled on German cobblestones like it had empty cans in the doors and trunk! And then I rode in Ford Capris and later, a few 911s... and got hooked to the latter. About 35 years later, I finally got one, photo below.
