Anyone else notice the ashtray in the driver's side REAR door rattling when they have the Bose pumped up?

Take ashtray out, rattle gone... replace/correctly seated, and rattle comes back. Easily fixed with a tiny piece of high-density foam, but I was wondering if this is a 'feature.'

i have both of my rear doors rattling, my blikers went crazy, height sensor is playing jokes with me, i feel like i am driving an old junker not a $45000 car, i think this is my last audi ever.

my A6 2.7T rattled during a few songs with very moderate volume.

I took my car in to my dealer with a CD six-pack loaded and gave them the CD and track numbers that caused problems - <a href="http://195.96.170.63:80/hlfmwgizxph~uronvmt/ifm_oloz_ifm/hlfmwgizxp/61989/16253683/supermarket.prev.mp3">Run Lola Run - Supermarket</a> (@13 secs) was the worst.

The dealer:
1) removed and replaced rear shelf and added some felt strips.
2) removed rear door panels and added some felt strips.
3) ordered a new ashtray for one door - mine was drivers rear side too.

Problem is now gone.

wow - that would frost me to no end. Did you buy this car brand spankin new, or is there some strange anomoly (demonstrator, flood, salvage, used) in your car's history? Also, how many miles on it when you took delivery?
