just bought a 2003 with 56,000 miles (one owner well cared for and serviced on time! the car looks new!) first Audi read and researched before purchased, only a little intimated by car (have re-built two chevy motors for drag racing 68 chevelle so am acquainted with the love hate r3elationship that develops.) But already the car could not pass emissions so dealer installed a new moniter?? got passed but... when got car back the auto suspension doesn't do the auto thing??? Am I missing something simple still very unfamiliar with car only had a couple of weeks.

When you say "auto thing".. If you manually set the car to level 3 and drive it to approx 80kmph (50mph) it should (after a short time) automatically lower to level 2, Then when you slow to approx 60kmph (40mph) for longer than 30 seconds it should raise back up to level 3.
It should go to level 1 at speeds over 120kmph (70mph) after 30 seconds.
If you have it set at 1 It will not go up on its own, only if you have it set at 3 or 4 it will go down and up
Hope this is the info you are after
