A dealer in VA is looking for a bike rack for an All-Road that is NOT roof-mounted.

Apparently, Audi only sells roof mounted racks. Does anyone out there know of an aftermarket rack (i.e. Thule, etc.) that is hitch mounted or otherwise hung off the rear hatch. If you don't know of a specific one, suggestions on what
companies to check will help as well.

For my previous car, I bought a pretty slick, receiver mounted, fold-down, carrier. I think I bought it from MacNeil Automotive. The problem with the allroad is that we don't have any definitive information about the way the trailer hitch receiver will work, whether it will be the standard US version that works when you remove the aluminum plate and simply insert the ball and hitch, or a special version that will come under the aluminum plate.
At any rate, the setup I had worked well. Stepped on a latch and the whole thing folded down to put bikes on the rack, then folded back up and latched in place.
There were separate attachments for skis as well, that would stand them up vertically. Those worked fine with my Expedition, but they might be too close to the ground on the allroad.
