Test drove a 6-sp Atlas AR during lunch. Air system questions.
1. How long does it typically take to go from level 1 to level 2 (lowest to middle)?
2. Is there a good way to diagnose the airbag's condition?
3. The air compressor was a little noisy, is this normal? Like a loud fuel pump in the trunk.

A bit of explaining...
the suspension system is a slow feed air system. The compressor feeds the storage tank. (not the air sprins).
Its the storage tank that feeds the air springs.
The compressor will only come on when the pressure inside the storage tank gets below a certian level.

It had been sitting for a bit (maybe a week) and this was the first suspension air change.
when I first got to the car, the front was slammed (I'm guessing from not running). Is this an indication of an air leak in the bags?
It leveled out fine though.

Noisy as in I could hear it (and feel it very slightly). It is on par with the sound the air pump
for the door locks makes.
Is that normal? Can you hear a perfectly working compressor?
