Is there a significant change in 0-60 and 1/4 mile times between normal and sport modes on the tip?

I know the shift points are different but a search hasn't revealed any posted differences in the performance times. Anyone?

All the quotes I have seen out there are 6 speed vs auto in D mode. Maybe the difference is less in Sport or Tip mode?

I only use the tip mode when I want to hold the rpms into a turn. I thought I read an article in one of the magazines that concluded that all manumatic type cars got their best results by just stomping on the gas rather than using tip mode.

You '02 guys have sport mode? hmm. Pretty cool. I think it's time for you to borrow someone's Gtech and do some testing for the benefit of AW. With ESP off of course.
I did test D vs tip mode and D was ~.2 sec faster to 60 mph.
