Default There's a new tip chip in town....

By Vast! - No surprise there - They have the latest and greatest tip chip programs for your allroad, S4 etc...
This is a night and day difference to the GIAC tip chip that I've been running for some time now. At Stage III my transmission would really slip between gears. This is how our tiptronics where designed for stock - luxury - power, however with more torque being thrown at the clutch packs this slipping & amount of duration isn't good. Giac was slightly better than stock, but The Vast Tip Chip blows it out of the water. The duration of the shifts are much shorter & more aggressive. The pressure to the clutch packs is increased - so much so that one can really feel it holding, and the shifting is Unbelievable! A definite must for those wanting to increase their tiptronic's performance.

GO VAST!

Default They could look into this...it seems like there isn't much BTL though

They (vast) were more focused on the time/slip/force between gears. Also Abs/EPC has some input into this brake throttle lag, So it might not be able to circumvent it.

$375 shipped ground in the US. but they didn't charge me the install fee. This is probably subject to change. So call VAST and chat with Prince. 248-399-2222

Default makes sense, when your pushing stage III numbers at it. I think if we knew

exactly where and what was driving that lag, maybe we could lie to it through vag-com like we do for the 402.
