use the search function on "bike hitch" and select the allroad forum filter.
The factory hitch is orders of magnitude better than any after-market hitch, but it's sorta funky if your main goal is to use a bike mount on it. It will probably involve a certain amount of fabrication, but a few have done it.

Search here

I want to haul a mx bike, which weighs approx 250lbs. the rack would weigh 50lbs. could they hold 300-ish lbs?
that's my main concern. I can use a roof mount rack for hauling my bicycles around

The unusual thing about the factory hitch is that the receiver is vertical. You'd have to get an adapter fabricated to convert the vertical dropout to a horizontal box receiver, then mount your mx carrier the usual way. The weak point would be the weld on the part that goes vertical.

I suppose I'd have to fabricate something (or have it done). it's just sketchy because that mount point is so small, it looks like it's about 1" square.
it might have to become a frankenstein of the stock mount + a fabrication.

Hi Scott,
I'm looking to do the same thing. I'd like to carry my YZ on a receiver hitch rack behind my allroad. As mentioned below, a doohickey will need to be manufactured to accommodate a 2" motorcycle rack.
This was my past set-up:

However, I'm not going to tow the tent trailer together with the motorcycle rack with my allroad.
I'll post any information on the hitch adapter when I get it made.
