Those with big brakes - if you had it to do again, would you do same or something different?

RallyNut - I know you had issues with ECS and your Porsche setup. Does the lack of parts support make this a bad option?
I hear many good things about the Alcons but this might not be the leader in benefit per dollar.
Stoptech is out there with several options.
AWE has Brembo for big money. Are these calipers the same as the Porsches at ECS?

O.K., it is 355mm which is similar to ECS's Cayenne Kit but w/o any brackets.
IMHO, adding another point of stress onto a system that must be handle such a huge force and weight isn't what I'd recommend.
A straight bolt-on solution w/o taking any detours should be mandatory for high HP cars.
The only regret from the ECS Cayenne setup is that, as you mentioned, the inconvenience of getting replacement rotors; but a phone call can take care of that.
The materials used on Brembo, StopTech, Alcon or MoveIt seem to be very similar; the secret lies in the pads, something like Carbotech XP series will surely take the wrinkles out of your face :-)
So yes, I'd go for the Cayenne setup again but that is mostly based on the fact that our cars are similar in weight and handling as the Cayenne itself, and the guys at Porsche know what they are doing.

And why does the pic show brackets?
