Those experiencing "lag" or "slipping" How many miles do you have now?
My lag seems to always have been there, but the slipping started around 28K. And it's just getting worse.
I'm thinking with bad BPVs it compounds the situation. I never had these issues with my two Tip A4s.

My "slipping" sounds like slipping a clutch just a little...
... and happens when I downshift (in Tip mode)to 3 or 4 and hit the gas. I'm in for the 30K service later this week, and I'm going to mention it to them. HPH

My RPMs don't climb...it just sits there for a while and then takes off like a bat out of hell.
They just replaced my BPVs (smoke test showed leaks on both) after replacing the TCU, thinking that would fix it. The car runs better, but its still there.
