Default What about intake? I wonder if the Darintake could make the difference?

There is no doubt that it is positive deviation that is causing the TC. Boost comes on hard and fast. Perhaps I have a different X code file that is different? Who knows. I have no problem controlling it with an MBC and it will come in handy when I go homebrew stage 3.

Default You guys are going to send me out for more logs? I'm going to

running around doing 3rd gear pulls to 7,000 RPMS.

Default nice to see the data - clearly O2s and CFs are not the issue, by chance did you log MAF #s..

- most likely MBC in parallel is the quick and best solution

- for my own information, how many Allroads do you think have Piggy Pipes or after market downpipes + exhaust + X chip (plus in your case you have done the hole in the airbox thing)?

- This maybe happening to many people and it is just that so few Allroads have a Boost guage that people cannot see the problem

- Also, did you by chance log your MAF#s, small possibility that your MAF is going bad but I'm also interested in seeing your MAF graph - it may tell us something but it would also be good to see what #'s you are producing

Default MAF was in his first log.....

Personally, I would just run the MBC stand alone; get the N75 out of there. That's what I did.

Click!

You mean the N75 valve? The N249 valve is the 1 that allows the ecu to open the diverter valves.

Default No need for a tcd on k03s. He just needs to put an mbc in parallel with the boost set at whatever

the ecu is requeting. That will eliminat the spike and the n75 will still have full control of boost (except for the period of time the car is trying to produce above what the ecu is asking for). Very simple to do, no other changes required.

Default I doubt it's the intake. I think everyone agrees the MBC will fix it, but I am curious as to what

is causing the positive deviation.

MAF looks better than ever. I'm flowing about 15 g/s better than before DPs.

Default So consensus is MBC parallel only will fix the problem. Add TCD only if I want to increase boost...

...and hasten the death of the turbos.
