I even started a couple of threads trying to find out why my car is doing what it's doing. But no one had a real diffinitive answer. Yea, it just feels like the turbos switch off. Shoot, it just happend this morning when I tried to pass a truck.
That's why I have an interest in RMcQ's TC's. I'm thinking it's a similar issue. I would agree that our issue is not as extreme but something is definitely going on. I brought it to the dealers attention but of course they didn't find anything wrong. I'm currently running my ecu in stock mode because I don't get the TC as much as "chipped" mode. I'm going to try and "ping" the b5 s4 forum and see what they have to say.

I'm starting to suspect my MAF has a hand in all this. It would make sense as the MAF determines the "engine load" which then is turned into a requested boost. A flaky MAF could be asking for boost spikes and the "Load" also goes into the ESP system which could be causing that to engage when it isn't supposed to.
Maybe I'll pull it out and clean it.

sensor voltage as accurate. I don't know what happened to the graph, but you should get enough info without it.<ul><li><a href="http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/resources/news3.php">http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/resources/news3.php</a</li></ul>

is not what is causeing the throttle cut.
Apparantly this behavior was common with older version of GIAC X but was fixed in newer "8j" code. Well, the best GIAC had for my car was "8a" just a few months ago. Perhaps they did not port the newer code over to the allroad platorm.
At some point we all have to rely on the code to a certain extent. You are not running a wideband sensor on your car, are you?
Yes, I know a "real tuner" tunes the car on the dyno with the proper data, but I am not a real tuner LOL.
