Default Thule Aero Bars A755

This is my first post here, so hello. I'll be picking up my allroad within a couple of weeks, pending the sale of my current 1999 beetle.

I need to get a roof rack that I'll be using for ski and bike attachments. I read all the archived posts here (including the one below).

I am just curious if anyone has tried the new Thule Aero kit. http://www.rackwarehouse.com/ta755c.html

I called rackwarehouse and they said it fits Audi. Looks sleeker than the other options out there and only a few bucks more.

Thanks.

Default I say go for Aero bars

... They are cool looking and they match the brushed aluminum on the AR. I have the Audi aluminum bars (for no particular reason) but the aero bars are actually slightly less than the Audi "brand" bars! 8-)

The pic above is of the aero bars on an A4 Avant - with lots of "attachments" obviously!

Default check to make sure the options you want will fit these bars.

I like the look of these bars alot, but I use the standard Thule bars (with the low profile feet,[75x].)

As we often load our canoe, I like the gunwhale brackets. I don't think these brackets would fit the Aero bars.

Wow, those look pretty sweet -- I think that I may have to jump ship and go with Thule. Anyone need a set of Yakima crossbars and three bike attachments?
