Tires

Picked up a screw too far out in the tread for a plug. Now the question is "shaved" new tire (Yokahama Avid H4s), or 4 new? Suggestions?

i bought used h4s at bestusedtires.com for $50 and was very happy for another 10 kmiles. get used from a good shop. i would.

Tire rack offered to shave 1 new tire (that surprised me), but the bottom line was all the tires had dry rot . . . so I bit the bullet on a set of Yokahamas.

Thanks for the heads up on bestusedtires.com, (I had already ordered the new tires at that point).
