Default 6F this morning on my dash. Felt like a big intercooler at work

with the cold, dense air. Love the cold weather with a turbo car.

Default Parts question from this kit......

What is a 7/8" vinyl cap??? I missed this on the list when I was at Home Depot as I thought it was part of the 3" assembly that I had covered. Looking at this, I don't know what this would be for and therefore, where to go looking for it.

Default For capping off the PCV branch as shown in Figure 3. But...

to tell you the truth I don't remember doing this on my allroad?!? Perhaps ours is a slightly different design or perhaps I was able to pressurize the PCV branch with no ill effects?

Default You can use anything that'll hold back 10-15 psi to close off

the PCV branch. I did it with the meaty part of my hand at the base of the thumb since the cap I dug up didn't quite fit. If you have a leak, though, you'll need to be able to close it off with something to free yourself up to locate the leak.

The one thing that the AWE instructions don't mention is that you'll need to disconnect an additional hose that's attached to the underside of the intake hose that you remove; it's from the secondary air injection, which manual S4s don't have.
