All that being said, if Theta is still making the Dreadnought, I always thought it would be totally awesome to own an amp called the Dreadnought. Kinda like I think it would rock to drive a car called the Vanquish. Just sounds badass.

The dreadnaught is nice... The Theta Intrepid sounds nice, but might need a little more current. The Dreadnaught solves all of that. =) A friend runs 7 channels of dreadnaught on his Martin Logans, and is very pleased.
The Tag amp was stated to sound almost identical to the Bryston (which the Tag salesman owned), but there was something very odd about it's sound with the cables that were being used. Very warm midrange and very shrill highs. It was just doing weird things to the music!
