Default Turning off all of the beeps!

Love my AR. Hate all the beeps. Especially the seat belt warning and driver's door ajar. Can these two be turned off with a vagcom?

I'm pretty sure there is a way to turn them off with the Vag-com however I do believe that when you tuen them off you turn off the Brake wear sensor as well.

Good luck

You can turn off the seat-belt chime. You cannot turn off anything else.

In pre-2001 cars, you could just about turn off everything. The newer ones don't allow you to disable beeps completely.

You could disable (break) the speaker in the instrument cluster. But I don't recommend that.

I actually don't get any warning beeps. It's amazing. I love it.

I've never heard the seat belt warning chime because I don't drive without it and don't know why anyone would. The door ajar chime will turn off after 30 seconds or so, but it's rare I leave the door open with the keys in the ignition.

Wow, imagine being too privileged and holier than thou to have had to sleep in a parking lot - thus dealing with that beep.

I know that you can toggle the outside lever on the arm on the right side of the sterring wheel down twice to stop an alarm. After doing that I can sit in the car all day with no beeps.

The wiper control? Starting a single wiper sweep and then do the same motion while it's wiping?

It wouldn't completely remove the obnoxious beep that wakes up kids and stresses everyone else, but it would reduce the pain in the behind.
