TwinSpoke and snow no joke....
As I have read in this forum you must clean your twinspoke rims of snow. On my way to work this morning once the ar hit 40mph game over. The car shook like it was comming apart had to pull over and clean them pain in the a_s. I still had a wobble so I will pull the ar into a garage and let nature take it's course.

FWIW my RS6 reps are almost as bad.
Seems like any wheel with a big cylindrical inner drum is going to collect snow and ice. If it were tapered then inertia would push the stuff out better.

I'm a big fan of wheel wax
I bought some of this stuff and I have not had problems with snow sticking since. I'm sure in the right conditions snow will still get packed in there, but I think in helps...
PLUS! that stuff is just great! I could not belive how much better my 6 year old rims looked after an application, they looked brighter then ever and stayed clean longer. The wax totally removed all the haze and light scratches and just left a smoooth finish... Plus, I put some on the top load bars and it made them look like new too

Re: I'm a big fan of wheel wax
I also use the wax, but have not applied a coat in a few months. The reason the snow got in the rims drove into 3 unplowed driveways over 12'' then parked the car overnight.

Re: TwinSpoke and snow no joke....
Just hit 12" fresh snow w twin spokes - snow sticks much much more than in my A6 - next day AR drove like a Gremlin - deep fresh snow and twins don't mix, you really need to clean off the snow if you're going to go over 35mph- i'm sure heated wheels are in the cards for the ar :-)
