It is time for a front tire change for my 2001 Audi A4. My friend told me he always gets used tires for his car. He says that they are just like new with a couple of thousand miles on them and cost significantly less. What do you all think about the idea of used tires?

I sometimes put race takeoffs on my motorcycle, but I'm the only one who rides it. Not a chance in the world I'd bother trying to save a few bucks by putting used tires on a car that my family rides in. That may be overly cautious, but there's my $0.02
