Default Valve stem question

Since nobody answered in the Wheel & Tire Forum...

Can the needle height be adjusted inside a valve stem? In 2 valve stems, the needle is too low for my pressure gauge to get a reading. Can it be adjusted or do I have to replace the valve stems?

These are my 18" Oettinger RE's. Time to put the summer wheels on the ar, and want to get them at the proper pressure since they've been sitting in the garage for 3 months.

Default I'd try a new needle (valve core) rather than a whole new stem

pick up a new one for less than $1 at Walmart or an autoparts store along with the tool to remove/insert the valve core.

When you remove the core, your tire will lose air, so remember to make the exchange near an air compressor.

Default

Got one (compressor) at home right next to the wheels.
