Did you have steering wheel shake? I had the tires balanced but it didn't do anything. Can the CV joint make the steering wheel shake?
thanks for your help.

search for vibration and you'll have enough bedtime reading to be well informed by tomorrow![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

I had the same issue that stuck with me for several months. I had the tires balanced when I got my snow tires off and it did nothing. I took it into the dealer, the only thing they did was balance the tires which didn't help. I then took it to an Audi shop and he had me go over to a tire specilist store (very reluctantly). They Balanced the tires once again, but this time it worked and I havent had the vibration come back.
I'm guessing that maybe my rims had been dirty/grimy and the balancing weights had not been sticking on the first few tries.
