Vital Fluids OEM requirement?

just wondering for instance, when it comes to antifreeze/coolant, do i need to buy from the local audi stealership or can i just head over to autozone or Advance for your standard run of the mill coolant?
this ? also applies to other fluids like powersteering, brake, transmission, etc....

Use only OEM fluids for:
-Coolant
-Power Steering
-Auto Trans

All these fluids are made by Pentosin, so there is no need to buy them at the dealer.

most auto parts stores can order Pentosin for you if they don't have it. Y0u can also or it on line from Blauparts.com or ECStuning.com, etc.
