Hello, my 2004 allroad was parked outside while it was raining fairly hard this weekend.
The rain had stopped once I started driving, but then a small amount of water started to drip from the inside trim on the roof, in between the reading lights and where the sunroof switch is located. I stopped at a gas station and opened the sunroof but saw no problems with the rubber gaskets. Very little standing water. I closed the sunroof and drove again but then even more water leaked from the roof, closer to the windshield this time. Has anyone experienced this before? I don't normally park the vehicle outside but this is a bit disturbing.
I searched for water leaks but I could not find any other posts mentioning leaks in this general area.

apparently the glass had been replaced at some time before i bought it and not sealed properly on that side. water never appeared anywhere besides the floor, but there are a couple of spots that look to have been water stained on the a-pillar. otherwise, the dealer used a water hose and compressed air to find the leaks. i would assume that your dealer would do the same. good luck. j.
