The A4 cab goes back this week the new( on order) twin turbo 135 is 5-6 weeks out.

300 LB ft of torque at 1400-5000 rpm. Commuting will be interesting if not quick. :-)

Default are you going to chip the BMW?

the twin turbo is nuts, chipping it would be insane, but fun.

Default not likely...

the dealer is not like Anchor and mod friendly.
Lets face it 3660 lbs and 300 lbft should do nicely.

Default Just curious, this isn't a real Twin Turbo,or is it?...it's a small one to initiate low end boost

to eliminate the Turbo lag and then it kicks in the second bigger turbo from what I understand.

Default Nice choice. My sister and BIL got one

probably 5 or 6 weeks ago, and he's already had it on the track. Very nice car.

Don't chip it! They are very heat-challenged stock, and will go into limp mode under any chipped spirited driving. And BMW re-wrote the code for the 135 to be able to detect any software changes, even a piggyback chip. Will store the boost peaks in memory and can be retrieved by the dealer. Instant voided warranty. BMW figured the target audience would likely chip the cars.

Default And I thought are turbos were crammed in there!

That back turbo looks like it's going to take a lot of heat abuse.

Default Very cool! Is it the 135I convertible? Also, did you considering doing Euro Delivery through BMW?

That would be a great way to pick it up. First stop, Munich, then on to the A-bahn!
