Default Weekend road trip.

Well we went up to Sunrise in northern AZ for a bit of this.

Which was great fun. Unfortunately, after a long and late night getting there we woke up to this.

That put a bit of a damper on things as I knew Sunday was going to be spent making sure we got home instead of having fun riding. Recovery vehicles will not come out here. After a considerable bit of swearing and fiddling I got her to stand up on level two so we managed to cruise home at a steady 65mph which appears to have been quite smooth as this is the rear seat on the way home.

The moral of the story is that if you think your air bags are suspect don't put off fixing it. The boonies are not a good place to find out you are right.

Ok I'm always calling stuff the wrong thing. I meant airsprings. Thank you for the clarification Girlroad What happened to the good old days of leaf springs anyway?

On the other hand a bit of thought and understanding of the suspension goes a long way to getting you home. It pays to read your Audiworld!

Cheers

Default It is upsetting to get woken up by the 'wolf' at 5am.

She likes to come up in the morning and paw my head through the wall of the tent to remind me that we had better get a walk in before it gets hot. This is a bit freaky until you become used to it.

A weekend of being up in the forest and she does start giving me her 'I'm really a wolf' attitude. Of course, as soon as there is food or the prospects of a tummy rub she turns back into the big soft lump that she really is.

Malamutes rule.
