Default What Rims?

What rims have people put on their allroads? According to the Tire Rack rep, only the Moda R6s are appropriate for the allroad.

I would appreciate pics and thoughts if you have them!

Thanks,
Gavin

Email reply from Eddie at Tire Rack regarding the Moda R6:

Thanks for the note! That is currently the ONLY wheel that we offer to fit
the Allroad. I wish there was more to offer but the wheels built for the
allroad requirements are different than all other Audis (load, offset) so it
will be pretty limited. Hope this helps. If you want to discuss further
just give me a call at my direct # below, or when you are ready to place an
order!

Default Ronal R38

Ronal makes a nice looking rim for the Allroad, the R38. You have to order Allroad specific. I talked to someone and they informed me that on this rim you have to order for your S6 or Allroad specific.

Default Well, you could get the R6s ;-)

you can use lots of rims with ET35 offset and 10mm spacers as well.

My choice!

Default There's always the RS4 rims...

but if you get these (18"x8.5") OE rims, be sure they are the harder "new version" ones.

There also are "replica" versions available. These all appear to require spacers, but the OE rims do not.

Default Lets see, here's my list...

Going off memory as my Excel spreadsheet with the info is hosed on this computer:

- Sportec Mono 10 - w/ bolt on spacer has an ET15
- BBS - looks to have a few w/ a ET23 or less, see the link below for more info
- DTM Kreuz - 5, 7, or 10 spoke custom made forged wheels so you can have an ET20 done. Price isn't that more than some other options. Talk to danny@autobahnx.com for more info

I ended up going w/ the Sportecs as I found a used set for a decent price. If I was to buy new I would go w/ the DTM Kreuz as custom forged is just sooo nice! I was a bit worried how a high polished wheel would look on the allroad though.

IMO, an 18x8 or 8.5 needs a ET20. I mounted one side of the Sportecs tonite and the ET15 is right out to the fender lip. It does look good but I might see if I can get 15mm spacers to bring things in a bit - the OEM RS4 wheels look just right w/ the ET20.

That BBS group buy looks to have some very decent prices. The RWII's might look really nice on the allroad.

BBS Group Buy

Default I prefer 'em right to the edge. Makes for a wicked stance.

Can't wait to put them back on. Mud flaps are a must, though.

Default haha - you're going to laugh when you see pics of my car..

...it's an exact match to yours now. BB w/ 18" Sportecs. Although I just added a Thule rack and planning on replacing the side trim w/ S6 trim.

BTW, that top pic is the money shot!

Default Damn, you have good taste ;-)

Let's see some pics!

Need a new one with the APR exhaust and splash guards. Still undecided on the side trim.
