what year did they stop using the HP2 caliper?

I just looked at an 05 6spd and it had the standerd brakes, is this normal? I thought the 2.7t with 6spd had the HP2. thanks

for the allroad, I think it was the M.Y. 2003.

My April '02 build 2002 model has the newer calipers, unfortunately.

'04 and '05 4.2 still use the HP2 as well

Well that is a bummer. I never worked on an '02, so I was not sure.

Any press release or internal info as to why they switched calipers?

It's nothing important i'm just curious.
