Don't listen to these folks. . .Burgundy Pearl, with the fender flares and bumpers fully painted, the 402 mod and lower profile tires and the whole thing set on level one looking way down low is the best!
Interior, I have the ecru but I bet the grey (or is it gray) would look pretty good too. Leather of course.

My favorite is silver, but got black because...
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/43414/black.jpg"></center><p>(couldn't wait for the silver) and I do like how the black paint contrasts the matte parts. Almost seems like the car is all one color: matte/gloss black. Hot climate?

I sure did - they've been talking about doing this for over a year
They sold the Jag franchise, Porsche moved downtown, and they moved Saab up there. I hope things improve but I won't hold my breath :-)

I own a black 01 and live in Tulsa and as long as you have the windows tinted the interior is fine. The black/grey interior kind a looked cheap IMO and that is why I did not buy a silver ar, even though silver is fastest color.

Highland Green with Platinum/Black
Just look at the 2001 brochure, if that isn't an official endorsement of Highland Green as the best, then what is?
Black interior gets a litle warm but leather changes temp pretty quickly. It's that dark roof that we all have that heats up the car!
