Thought I had a bend wheel.
Discount tire (where I got the tires) dismounted the tires and checked the runout on the wheels and all were in good shape, with only one wheel that was out of true by 0.007"- virtually unnoticable.
But one tire was out by 35 pounds even though it only called for 2 ounces of weight. As the old saying goes "you can balance an egg to read all 0's, but it's still an egg and will still shake."
New tire on the way.

Had the same problem last week! tires.com (discount tires) paid for my entire $175 road force balance without blinking an eye....(even though 1 tire was the culprit, still had to get all 4 done to find the 1~!)

I went through this with my Pilot Sport A/Ss 18s, and just yesterday with the Alpins snows.
Maybe time to call Mr.Brown at Michelin. I have two new sets of Sprot Cup tires coming for the Plastic Car, and race season starts in March.

This should be a lesson for EVERYONE, you MUST get new tires road force balanced! The Hunter GSP9700 is going to cost tire manufacturers (ultimately us) $$$.
You might not notice an out of round tire until it wears badly and then it's too late to get the manufacturer to replace it.
Two of my new Falken Ziex's were deemed unacceptable by the 9700. Discount Tire replaced them immediately. They have great customer service.

Got these tires about 3000 miles ago and have had a vibration since, though I had a worse vibration with the Goodyears I took off. So I assumed a wheel problem since this is the third set of Michelin Pilot Sport a/S I've bought and never had aproblem before.
The first time that Discount Tire Road Forced them, they read it as a bad wheel. But they suspected that their machine was out of calibration so they got a new circuit card. That's when they found the tire as the culprit.
Hats off to Discount Tire. No offense to our sponsor Tire Rack because I've bought from them in the past and they ae a class operation. But still no substitute for buying locally from a reputable business who is here locally to service after the sale.
