Default It can be done with the bumper on (I did it on my old car) but its a huge PITA.

Perfect to do it with the timing belt as the mount will be exposed already and can easily be replaced. Just a little grease and a tap from a BFH (big hammer) and it will go right on.

It might also make the TB service a little easier to swallow 'cause you get an upgrade to enjoy.
