Why doesn't any brand offer A8/750/S class size wagons?

My dad has a 6 speed. There's less rear seat legroom than the allroad, but
the interior is wider across. Between that and the vertical tailgate, it can haul bigger/more stuff than the allroad, plus the front passenger seat folds flat forward for really long items. Towing capacity is the same as the allroad, FWIW..
It's not as smooth/quiet/refined a drive as the allroad, but it's a really nice car.
