Default Re: will a 01 S4 torque converter work in a 01 Allroad?

ETKA lists 4 TCs for the 2001 A4/S4 (grouped together), depending on the transmission model:

01V 323 571 E - DRN
01V 323 571 D - EKD, FHH, FAS
01V 323 571 G - FA, LDTV, EFQ
01V 323 593 A - EMP, FHJ, FAQ

Two are listed for the 2001 AR:

01V 323 593 A - EYK
01V 323 572 A - FXL

I know my 03 has an EYK transmission in case that helps.

If the S4 uses a "01V 323 593 A", it looks like the TC would be the same one.

Other than this, I have no idea how interchangable they are.

Regards,
Gavin
