I have a 2005 Allroad 4.2 and I am looking to get my wheels refurbished. I don't want to leave it on jack stand for 4+ days so I am looking for alternatives. I can't find a loaner set of wheels so I'm looking to pick up a set for short money. I have located a set of wheels with tires from an Allroad but the specs are different and I'm not sure if it will work. My Allroad takes 245/45 18R and the set I'm looking at are also OEM Allroad wheels with 225/55 17R tires on them (same diameter tire but slightly narrower). I'm pretty sure the bolt pattern is the same, I'm just not sure about the offset or anything like that. I'm looking at 25 mins drive time there and back...otherwise it will sit in my driveway until mine are done getting refinished. Concerns?
My wheels are either #58769 or #58768 (I'm not sure why there are two different sizes and I'm honestly not sure which I have) and the wheels in question are #58765 in the link below.
