Recaro sport seats are offered in Europe; Have yet to hear if they'll ever be an option here.

Almost there now...
From what I understood from my dealer, and have confirmed by personal observation, the seats in the allroad are somewhat closer to being "sport seats" than what typically comes in any A6 avant or sedan. However, they are not as "confining" as the optional sport seats that come with the A6 sport package (seats and suspension mods). Personally, I found those sport seats just too restrictive, and the allroad seats close to perfection. I personally would be surprised if Audi offered anything other than the "allroad" seats on this model, at least for the US market. Funny how Recaros felt great to me twenty years ago, and now....
