From the description of the car, trim pieces not fitting, a bad alignemnt, and a leaking windshield, I would bet money the car has had an accident and repaired.
The pass airbag uses the windshield to deflect the bag toward the passenger, resulting in a broke windscreen.

didn't look repaired to me. I'll take a closer look soon.
I think the alignment issue only came after the tie-rod end replacement, though, and tie-rods don't seem to last much more than 60-70k which is inline with this car's mileage...
