Default wiper blades - source

Bought new wiper blades for my B5 A4 and 2002 Allroad. Installed on A4 with no problem. Could NOT figure out to install them on Allroad.

Back to Autozone, they also shook their had, and turned out they don't have one that fits my car.

O'Reilly/Murrays: nope.

Where do you guys get the wiper blades from (aside from stealer)?

If you don't want to buy from the dealer just google them, lots of sources. (even Amazon has them) They are called Aero style wiper blades. IMO after shipping it's not usually worth buying online.(unless you combine with another purchase and get free shipping) I bought mine at the dealer and I rarely go there for parts. I looked a long time ago for a local source for them and no one seems to carry anything.
If you want to permanently solve your problem, buy some wiper arms off a 01' Allroad. The 01' used a standard attachment method (you can buy wipers almost anywhere) where as the 02'-05' used the Aero style. I'm guessing the ones that Autozone looked up where for a 01' only. The book in their store however says 01'-05' which is a mistake. You CAN buy the rear wiper off-the-shelf though.

Default I purchase mine from Amazon

I have purchased the Valeo 900-22-5B from Amazon which fits my 04 Allroad.
They usually run $17 per blade so just a bit less than the OEM from the Audi dealer.

And they mounted to the Allroad arms?
My Bosch did NOT fit the mounting.

22" Bosch 'Ikons' fit and work nicely on both my 01'allroad and 03' RS6. Autozone or Advanced Auto around here has them.

I run the OE 01' allroad wipers on both the cars in the non-winter months....under $20 online from www.genuineaudiparts.com. The right side is made curved to fit the windshield contour.

Here are the OE 2001 allroad numbers:
Right side 4Z7 955 406
Left side 4Z7 955 407A

I custom ordered from Car Quest. Will pick up today, see if they fit.

Will check have Autozone check again. We went through all their blades, but none of the mountings fit my style (plastic cap pulled forward, large not-round not-square pin on blade fits into same shaped cut out in arm).

My local Autozone might not have the same things as your local Autozone...

I know Advanced Auto has a ton of different Bosch wipers ...prolly the best selection of Bosch around me.
