Default WOO-HOO!!! Just Got The Word---

My allroad is on the boat!!!!! In 2 short weeks I'll have my new baby. I just hope that I can find a buyer of my A6Q before the allroad gets here. I've got to pay for it somehow.

Default you may be disappointed...

I would agree with jprice. unless you live in or very near the port city. It may take 2 weeks to reach port (but only on east coast). Mine came into San Diego, and was on the boat for 3.5 weeks and took another 2 weeks just to get to me in Colorado.

Default Expect 2 to 4 weeks after it is IN PORT.

Depending on how fast it clears customs (no way of knowing if that takes 3 days or 3 weeks... it just depends)- Once it clears customs your dealer will be able to give you a better idea.

Hate to rain on your parade, but everyone is right. The ground shipping is very slow, at least it was from San Diego for mine. To make it worse Audi's sales staff has very little control to expedite this shipment. Pretty frustrating when you're a paid customer.

Default I don't expect any delay

I live in the port city itself (Houston, TX). Many of the Audi's destined for the states come through the Houston port so there should not be much of a delay if any. Hell, if they will let me I'll pick it up at the port. And don't worry about 'raining on my parade'. It takes rain to produce bluebonntes. I'm just happy that its actually on the boat and on its way.

Default Re: I don't expect any delay

Hopefully it will come into Houston (just kidding) .

regardless the agony. it IS worth the wait.

It took exactly 4 months to the day, order to delivery, for mine to get to me... but now just a bad memory.

enjoy,

You should not expect much if any delay for your new AR. If you ordered through Momentum you should be OK, that was my dealer. Just remember one thing all good things (Audi/VW) come through Houston!
